Earobics Step 1 teaches your child how to:

• Recognise rhyming sound patterns in words
• Associate a sound with a letter or group of letters
• Identify the position of a target sounds in a word
• Determine whether two or more sounds are the same or different
• Remember sounds and words in sequential order
• Blend sounds into syllables and syllables into words
• Segment words into syllables and syllables into sounds
• Understand the meanings of words
• Follow spoken directions
• Detect the silent intervals between sounds
• Recognise a sequence of sounds

Earobics System Requirements: All of the products listed for Earobics require a minimum of:

IBM PC or Compatible : PC133Mhz Pentium Processor or faster, Windows 95, 98, Me, NT 4.0 or later, 2000, or XP, 32MB available RAM, 10MB available hard disk space, Video Card 256 colours at 800 x 600 pixels, 4 x CD ROM drive, Sound card Although Earobics was not designed for Windows Vista or Windows 7, it has been tested it on both of these operating systems and there is no problem with the 32 bit operating systems. However 64 bit operating systems may be a problem depending on the version being used.

Macintosh: Will only operate on Mac OS X. Earobics will not operate on the later Mac systems or hardware [eg Leopard or Snow Leopard]

Please Note: This program will not install on versions above Mac OSX 10 or Mac OSX Classic.
