This exciting new resource has been developed by DSF Literacy Services in order to encourage students to tune in to the sounds of words and to consider how these sounds can be represented with letters and letter patterns. Each pack contains: An A4 size double sided laminated Sounds Sheet with the 44 Sounds of English represented by picture and word clues A 25-page Have A Go Pad where each sound in a spelling word is written down or "mapped" in a box using the associated letter or letter pattern.

The Initial Phonics Code Pack, aimed at beginning readers and spellers in Years 1 - 2, or remedial students, is priced at $10. Appropriate sounds and spelling for beginning writers.

The Extended Phonics Code Pack, aimed at middle to upper primary students, adolescents and adults, contains everything in the Standard Pack as well as an 8-page reference guide.

The A4 size Spelling Rules and English Grammar Booklet contains information about plurals, words ending in the letter 'e', doubling consonants, prefixes, suffixes and much more. The Extended Pack is $20.

A Wall Frieze, consisting of 16 full colour pages (each with three 19cm x 19cm images), is available for $35. This would be perfect for decorating a classroom either in one long strip or in a block poster shape.

A full colour A1 size classroom poster of the 44 Sounds of English is available for $25.
