Unifix materials were first developed in England in 1953, and have been used in classrooms worldwide.  Manipulative materials can help students "come to grips" with difficult concepts.  Made of polyethylene plastic, Unifix blocks are sturdy and interlocking and come in ten strong colours for easy identification.
